Brighton i360

Got a head for heights? Get yourself to Brighton for sky-high experience that'll be right up your street.

Standing at over 160-metres high, Brighton's i360, also known as the British Airways i360, is a pin-like observation tower that looks like it's been plucked right out the year 3000 (as, we're sure, Busted would confirm).

The passenger pod is 18-metres in diameter, has both heating and air conditioning (all the mod cons), is fully wheelchair accessible and has bench seating. It's basically a shiny, glass doughnut that transports up to 175 passengers up 138m, and then - thankfully - all the way back down in around 25 minutes.

It goes without saying, the views from the top are something to behold - 360 degrees, panoramic and stunning. On a clear day, you can see up to 400sq km. That's the whole Sussex coast and all the way to the South Downs National Park. Just remember to pack your specs.

Once you're back on solid ground, there's a bar and restaurant in the base of the tower. Just in case you need to take the edge off.
