Set in a Victorian house bang in the middle of Whitechapel, the museum brings the story back to life. Get your Jack the Ripper Museum tickets here to see it for yourself.
The Chamber of Horrors is jampacked with info about the murders – from photos to autopsy reports and even one of their pieces of clothing. And the mockup of Whitechapel Police Station has busy desks and jail cells (coppers must’ve been frantic at the time).
But the Jack the Ripper trail is the most interactive (and interesting) part of the tour. As you pass the carefully reconstructed murder locations, the pubs where the victims worked and the streets they walked, you might pick up clues about who the murderer really was.
There’s also a recreation of what Jack the Ripper’s sitting room might have looked like. And documents like the infamous ‘From Hell’ letter.
