Sandy Lane Equestrian is based in Weaverham in the heart of Cheshire providing entry level riding instruction to all sectors of the community, we are accredited by the British Horse Society and The Association of British riding Schools.
Additionally we are one of the North West’s premier centres for Riding for the Disabled and work with local special needs schools, special needs centres and individual riders, we are able to accommodate most categories of disability.
We have over 40 horses and ponies that belong to the centre and as a consequence we have a high level of understanding of each horse or pony and can match riders to horses for optimum levels of enjoyment and safety.
In addition to general tuition we specialise in confidence building, own horse instruction, horse care and stable management tuition.
We have excellent facilities with a large outdoor All Weather Floodlit Arena, an Indoor Arena with seating for 100, a Working Hunter Arena and a 5K Hack Track (ride) we also boast a shop were you can purchase all of you riding apparel, hats, boots, Jodhpurs, gloves etc as well as snacks and hot and cold drinks.
We also have a classroom for theoretical tuition and welfare facilities including toilets, disabled toilets, ramps and wheelchair lifts.
In addition to the forgoing we host children’s parties for birthdays etc, we cater for groups with a minimum number of six with no upper limit we offer themed parties with assisted ridden games (no riding experience required) and a party room which we can decorate to your taste and we can cater for you or you can self-cater.
